donations from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.

A: Bethany Place has never
received Government Funding.

WHAT IS THE CRITERIA
REQUIRED FOR A WOMAN TO ENTER THE PROGRAM?
A: The only requirement
for a woman to become a resident at Bethany Place is a "sincere"
desire to change their lifestyle.

DO YOU CHARGE THE WOMEN IN THE PROGRAM A FEE?
A: There is no charge
for the women and children to stay at Bethany Place. All needs
(clothing, food, etc.) are provided for them free of charge. Family
donations are welcome.
Q: CAN
THE WOMEN GET A JOB WHILE ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM?
A: During their stay at
Bethany Place, the women are not permitted to seek employment.
This is due to the structure of our program. While residing
at Bethany Place, the women spend their time attending various classes,
learning to nurture and care for their children, as well as learning
responsibility and accountability. This is designed to aid
them to become more successful when they leave the program, so that
when they do seek employment, they will be able to achieve their
individual goals.
Q: CAN
THE WOMEN CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION WHILE ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM?
A: Yes. The women
who enter Bethany Place are encouraged to continue their education.
Bethany Place offers a successful GED program designed to aid them
in the pursuit of their education. Additionally, they are
afforded the opportunity to attend higher education (College or
Technical School) once they have achieved their basic education.
